Appraisals - Report Verification - Consulting
Diamond and High-End Colored Gemstone services:
Unset Diamonds,Unset high-end colored gems. Solitaires / Earrings / Brooches / Necklaces, and complex Color / Diamond items:
A. Distant client Fees:

B. Walk-in client Fees:

The above fees apply to clients who physically bring items to our office.
Other items of jewelry:
Small diamond(s) or commercial color gemstone items, all metal items and all other miscellaneous items of jewelry
First item: $50 minimum based on $175 per hour
Additional
item(s) $20 minimum based on $175 per hour
This means that two items listed on a report are no less than $70,
but the fee can rise as time is expended, based on $175 per hour.
Expert testimony
Consultation in advance of testimony $175 per hour. A $600 retainer is required.
Court or deposition attendance based on $300 per hour with a $600 minimum (2 hours) per day local court or deposition attendance charge. $2300 per full day plus travel expenses for any distant testimony. Substantial time must be set aside for court appearances. While postponements and cancellations of court appearances are common, last moment notification is not acceptable. The minimum fee of $600 is charged unless cancellation is given to us a minimum of two working days in advance. Any lost, pre-paid and non-refundable travel expenses are payable without regard to requested two working day notice. We generally book ahead to save our clients money unless requested by them to book at the last minute due to uncertainty.
Working days are weekdays, Monday through Friday. Travel one way by air of less than 3 hours is booked in coach. Three hours or more by air one way travel time is booked Business Class overseas and First Class domestic USA. Train travel is booked First Class.
