Reports Overview

We offer several different reports.  Some may look quite similar, but there are differences which make them separate and more useful for special purposes.

Diamond Report: 
“The DGLA International Report”
The traditional color, cut, and clarity with the standard GIA type measurements, UV fluorescence, clarity plot, polish and symmetry.

Diamond Light Analysis:
All of the above plus our highly scientific, direct measurement of Light Behavior scoring on a repeatable 11 grade scale.  Highly scientific Direct Assessment of Light is used.

Diamond Report with AGA/NAJA parametric Cut Analysis:
“The DGLA-CERT”
All the information of the Diamond Report plus a breakdown of Cut Class Quality on a repeatable 8 grade scale.

Diamond Report with Sarin/DiamCalc Gem Adviser grading of Light Behavior:
All the information on the Diamond Report plus light grading performed by ray-tracing analysis.

All of the above can be provided on a Consultation basis in advance of a final report being issued.  These consultations can be upgraded to full reports if approved.

Gem ID Report:
Just the facts of species and variety along with any comments about treatment when discovered.

Colored Gem Report:
We list the species and variety of the material.  Color is graded and reported in GIA terminology or in Gemewizard terminology.  Measurements, transparency, brilliance, extinction and windowing are reported.  Identified treatments and phenomena are disclosed.

Jewelry Cert:
Our independent opinion of the quality of the metal and gemstones in an item of jewelry.  Typically, this is a credit card sized plastic report with a serialized number.
Many versions and available and customization is easily produced.  Inscription of the Cert number on the jewelry or on the diamond is optional.

Full Jewelry, Diamond or Gemstone Appraisal:
A complete document for Retail Replacement and Obtaining Insurance coverage.  No ridiculous numbers, but the plain truth about retail value.  Supplied in a luxurious folder, two copies, and color images of the pieces with the raised seal of the appraiser.
